In our culture today we say we love our car but we also love our parents? We love our partner but yet we also love a Big Mac? We use the word love so much that we don't actually know what real love is.
One thing that we do know is that love shouldn't hurt. It shouldn't make us feel insecure or scared. It shouldn't be full of fear or physically violent!
Love Shouldn't Hurt is a new schools program to create awareness of what a healthy and safe relationship is.

Our team goes into schools and youth centres to chat about the different ways in which violent or abusive relationships can be stopped and how to recognize the early stages of an unsafe relationship.
The age group 16-24yrs is the most affected age group of domestic violence than any other age group and 25% of all reported crime is related to domestic violence! This is where one person in a relationship will take a place of control and physically or verbally abuse the other. We want to re-educate and break the cycle of DV in teen relationships.
